Our drivers.

Employed by us — trained by us, accountable to us. Not contractors. Every chauffeur working for us is on our payroll — hired, trained and accountable to us across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown.

When you confirm a booking, a specific chauffeur is assigned. There is no marketplace step, no contractor accepting or declining your job. The vehicle you book is the vehicle that arrives, driven by the person confirmed on your booking.

We have operated this way since 2002 — before the gig platforms existed.

What employed means

Every chauffeur who drives for us is on our payroll. We train them, we set the standard, and they are answerable to us — not to a rating algorithm, not to surge incentives, not to the logic of a marketplace that needs to fill a slot.

Because they are employed, not contracted, we can enforce consistency in a way no platform can. The same briefing. The same vehicle knowledge. The same conduct, every job, every city.

Employment is the structural reason the standard holds. It is not a policy or a promise — it is the arrangement that makes the promise possible.

The structural contrast

A contractor marketplace

Us

A contractor decides whether to accept your job.
Your chauffeur is confirmed when you confirm.
"You may receive a vehicle of similar quality."
The vehicle you book is the vehicle that arrives.
The platform sets a baseline. The contractor meets it, or not.
We set the standard. Our employees meet it.
High turnover. Different person every time.
The same people. The same standard.

A contractor marketplace cannot promise you a specific person or a specific outcome. The driver can decline. The vehicle is approximate. The experience varies because the supply varies.

We never say "or similar." The vehicle you book is the vehicle that arrives. These are not aspirations — they are the direct result of the employment model.

We have operated this way since 2002. Not because the employment model is fashionable — it predates the platforms — but because it is the only model that produces a chauffeur rather than a ride.

Twenty-four years of the same structure, the same standards, the same vehicles. Read the full story since 2002.

Not an app.
Not a marketplace.
A chauffeur.

Questions

Are your drivers employees?

Yes. Every chauffeur who drives for us is employed by us — not a contractor, not a gig worker on a platform. We hire them, train them, and they answer to us. That distinction is the whole thing.

Can a driver decline my booking?

No. When you book, you have a chauffeur. There is no acceptance step, no algorithm routing your job to whoever is nearby and willing. Your booking is confirmed, and your chauffeur is confirmed with it.

Will I get the same standard every time?

Yes, because the standard is ours — set, maintained and enforced by us. It is not dependent on a contractor's mood or a platform's rating system. The same people, trained the same way, every time you use us.
