You book online, select your city, vehicle, and route — airport transfer, point-to-point, by the hour, or the full day. The price appears from the route table before you confirm. You enter your details. The booking is confirmed. No contractor acceptance step; no waiting to see who picks it up. A chauffeur is assigned.
On the day, the chauffeur arrives in the vehicle you chose — Mercedes E-Class, V-Class, or Sprinter — at the time you specified. For airport pickups, the flight is tracked; if it lands late, the chauffeur waits. The price does not change because the flight was delayed. That is what 'fixed' means.
What does a chauffeur do that a regular driver doesn't?
A chauffeur arrives knowing your name, your destination, and the detail of your booking — luggage count, flight number if relevant, any notes you left. What does a fixed price actually mean?
A fixed price means the NZD amount shown on the booking page is the amount you pay — GST-inclusive, no tolls added later, no fuel surcharge, no surge because it started raining. The price comes from our route table: a set figure for each origin-destination pair per vehicle. Auckland Airport to Parnell in the E-Class is $115. It is $115 at 6am and at midnight. It does not change.
Are chauffeur services available outside Auckland?
Yes. chauffeur.co.nz operates in four New Zealand cities: Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown. The same three vehicles — E-Class, V-Class, Sprinter — operate in every city at fixed prices. The standard is the same in Queenstown as in Auckland because the drivers are employed under the same terms.
