A Mercedes Sprinter from Queenstown Airport to Lake Hayes is a short, fixed-price journey — around 8 kilometres up State Highway 6 from the Frankton terminal, usually 10 to 12 minutes door to door. The Sprinter is our Mini-Coach: up to 10 passengers with room for 10 suitcases and 10 carry-on bags, so a full ski group, golf trip or wedding party lands, loads once, and travels together instead of splitting across three taxis. The price is GST-inclusive, confirmed before you book, and never surges.
Why the Sprinter for the Lake Hayes run?
Lake Hayes sits between Frankton and Arrowtown, and most groups headed there are staying at Lake Hayes Estate, around the lakefront, or five minutes further on at Millbrook Resort. Ten people arriving off one flight with ski bags or golf clubs won’t fit in a sedan convoy without splitting up — the Sprinter takes the whole group and every bag in one vehicle, one booking, one fixed price.
Can 10 of us really fit, with ski or golf gear?
Yes. The Sprinter carries up to 10 passengers with capacity for 10 suitcases and 10 carry-on bags. If your gear list is unusual — multiple ski bags per person, oversized golf tour bags — note it in the booking so we can confirm the load works.
We’re a wedding party staying near Lake Hayes and Millbrook. One vehicle or two?
One Sprinter usually does it. Lake Hayes Estate, the lakefront and Millbrook Resort are all within about five minutes of each other, so a single vehicle can drop across two or three addresses on the same run — enter the stops when you book and the fixed price reflects the actual route.
Can we keep the Sprinter and head out to the wineries?
Point-to-point transfers are priced per journey. For a Gibbston Valley wine afternoon or a multi-stop day around Arrowtown and the basin, hourly hire is the better shape — same Sprinter, same employed chauffeur, booked by the hour instead. Details at /book.
Where exactly will we be dropped at Lake Hayes?
Wherever you’re staying: Lake Hayes Estate streets, lakefront properties on Arrowtown–Lake Hayes Road, or hospitality stops at the northern end of the lake such as Amisfield or the Ayrburn precinct. Enter the precise address at booking — the fixed price is calculated to your actual door, not a zone.
