A personal driver for Christchurch Airport transfers means a professional chauffeur employed by us, waiting at the right place at the agreed time, every time. Since 2002, chauffeur.co.nz has operated Mercedes vehicles across the city with fixed, transparent pricing—no surge, no surprises. Your booking guarantees the specific vehicle you choose, not whatever shows up.
How does a personal driver guarantee on-time pickup at Christchurch Airport?
Your chauffeur monitors flight arrivals in real time and adjusts for delays without extra cost. For domestic arrivals, they wait inside the terminal; for international, they're positioned at the customs exit with your name. The driver is employed directly by us, not an app contractor who can decline the job.
Which vehicle should I book for airport transfers in Christchurch?
The Mercedes E-Class sedan carries up to two passengers with two large suitcases plus two carry-ons. For families or small groups, the V-Class takes four passengers with four suitcases and four carry-ons. The Sprinter mini-coach accommodates up to ten passengers with matching luggage capacity.
What's included in the fixed price for Christchurch Airport transfers?
The price shown at /book includes GST, flight monitoring, waiting time, and all tolls—it doesn't change based on time of day or demand. You see the complete cost before confirming, and that's what you pay. There's no meter running and no surge pricing.
Can I book a personal driver from Christchurch Airport to anywhere in the city?
Yes, we cover all Christchurch suburbs and destinations—Fendalton, Merivale, Riccarton, Sumner, or out to Lyttelton. The vehicle you reserve is the one that arrives, driven by a chauffeur we've trained and who's accountable to our standards, not freelancing through an app.
How far in advance should I book an airport transfer in Christchurch?
You can book months ahead for certainty, or the same day if a vehicle is available. Early booking guarantees your preferred Mercedes and departure time, especially during busy travel periods. Head to /book to see availability and the fixed price for your exact route.
