There are four ways to book: airport transfer, point-to-point, by the hour, or the day. Airport transfers and point-to-point routes use the route table — a fixed NZD figure for each origin-destination pair across the three vehicles. An Auckland Airport to City Hotel transfer in the E-Class is $140. It is $140 at 6am, at midnight, during a public holiday, and on the wettest day of the year. The route table does not have a multiplier column.
Hourly bookings use the hourly rate per vehicle — the rate multiplied by the number of hours you choose. The minimum is four hours. The E-Class is $125/hr, so the minimum four-hour booking is $500. The V-Class is $145/hr (minimum $580). The Sprinter is $185/hr (minimum $740). These rates are the same in every city we serve — Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. The rate does not change because you went to an area with high demand.
Day bookings are a single fixed figure for the first 8 hours per vehicle — $690 for the E-Class, $890 for the V-Class, $1,190 for the Sprinter. One number, the first 8 hours. If you need your chauffeur beyond 8 hours, additional hours are charged at the vehicle's hourly rate ($125/hr E-Class, $145/hr V-Class, $185/hr Sprinter). No incremental charges, no distance additions within those 8 hours.

How does the route table work?
The route table is a set of fixed NZD prices for specific origin-destination pairs — for example, Auckland Airport to City Hotel in the Mercedes E-Class ($140), or Wellington Airport to the CBD in the V-Class. Every price in the table is GST-inclusive and does not move with demand or time of day. When you select your city, vehicle, and route on the booking page, the table price is returned and displayed before you confirm. That is the price you pay.
What is the four-hour minimum for hourly bookings?
Hourly bookings have a four-hour minimum. The E-Class is $125/hr — minimum booking $500. The V-Class is $145/hr — minimum $580. The Sprinter is $185/hr — minimum $740. The same rates apply in all four cities. If you need a chauffeur for less than four hours, the airport transfer or point-to-point route price is likely the correct option.
How does a full-day booking work?
A full day is 8 hours with your chauffeur at one fixed NZD price per vehicle — $690 for the E-Class, $890 for the V-Class, $1,190 for the Sprinter. The price covers 8 hours regardless of distance or number of stops. If you need your chauffeur beyond 8 hours, additional hours are charged at the vehicle's hourly rate: $125/hr for the E-Class, $145/hr for the V-Class, $185/hr for the Sprinter. All figures are GST-inclusive.
Is GST included in the price?
Yes. Every price at chauffeur.co.nz is GST-inclusive — the New Zealand goods and services tax is already in the number shown. There are no additional tax charges at pickup, no tolls added after the fact, no fuel surcharges. The figure shown on the booking page is the total.
