The price shown before you confirm is the price charged at pickup. No surge, no weather premium, no demand adjustment.

There are four ways to book: airport transfer, point-to-point, by the hour, or the day. Airport transfers and point-to-point trips work from any address to any address in New Zealand. The price is calculated from the actual road distance, including the drive from our nearest depot and back, across the three vehicles. An Auckland Airport to city hotel transfer in the E-Class is $140. It is $140 at 6am, in the rain, and on the busiest Friday of the year. Two things are published and never hidden: pickups between 9pm and 4am add $50, and national public holidays add a 30% loading. Neither depends on demand, and both are included in the price you see before you confirm.
Hourly bookings use the hourly rate per vehicle — the rate multiplied by the number of hours you choose. The minimum is four hours. The E-Class is $135/hr, so the minimum four-hour booking is $540. The V-Class is $145/hr (minimum $580). The Sprinter is $185/hr (minimum $740). These rates are the same everywhere we drive. The rate does not change because you went to an area with high demand.
Day bookings are a single fixed figure for the first 10 hours per vehicle — $1,350 for the E-Class, $1,450 for the V-Class, $1,850 for the Sprinter. One number, the first 10 hours. If you need your chauffeur beyond 10 hours, additional hours are charged at the vehicle's hourly rate ($135/hr E-Class, $145/hr V-Class, $185/hr Sprinter). No incremental charges, no distance additions within those 10 hours.
All prices are GST-inclusive. The figure shown is the figure charged.
How is a transfer price calculated?
You enter any two New Zealand addresses on the booking page and choose a vehicle. We work out the real driving distance with Google Maps, price it from our nearest depot with that vehicle, and show one GST-inclusive number before you confirm — for example, Auckland Airport to a central city hotel in the Mercedes E-Class is $140. It does not move with demand or traffic. That is the price you pay.
What is the four-hour minimum for hourly bookings?
Hourly bookings have a four-hour minimum. The E-Class is $135/hr — minimum booking $540. The V-Class is $145/hr — minimum $580. The Sprinter is $185/hr — minimum $740. The same rates apply everywhere we drive. If you need a chauffeur for less than four hours, an airport transfer or point-to-point trip is likely the correct option.

A full day is 10 hours with your chauffeur at one fixed NZD price per vehicle — $1,350 for the E-Class, $1,450 for the V-Class, $1,850 for the Sprinter. The price covers 10 hours regardless of distance or number of stops. If you need your chauffeur beyond 10 hours, additional hours are charged at the vehicle's hourly rate: $135/hr for the E-Class, $145/hr for the V-Class, $185/hr for the Sprinter. All figures are GST-inclusive.
Is GST included in the price?
Yes. Every price at chauffeur.co.nz is GST-inclusive — the New Zealand goods and services tax is already in the number shown. There are no additional tax charges at pickup, no tolls added after the fact, no fuel surcharges. The figure shown on the booking page is the total.
