Christchurch Airport operates two adjoining terminals—domestic and international—both with arrivals exits on the ground floor. Your chauffeur from chauffeur.co.nz meets you inside the arrivals hall holding a name board with your name, positioned where you'll see them as soon as you clear customs or collect your bags.

Which terminal will my chauffeur meet me at?

Your driver meets you at whichever terminal your flight arrives into. Domestic arrivals exit on the ground floor near the baggage carousels, while international passengers exit through customs into the international arrivals hall. Both terminals are next to each other, so if you've given us your flight number we'll track it and be in the right place.

Where exactly do I look for the name board?

In the domestic terminal, your chauffeur waits just outside the secure baggage area where passengers enter the public arrivals zone. For international arrivals, we position ourselves in the arrivals hall immediately after you exit customs and the duty-free collection point. Look for a professionally presented driver holding a board with your surname clearly printed.

What if I can't find my driver at the airport?

Call or text the mobile number in your booking confirmation—your chauffeur carries a phone and can guide you to their exact position. The terminals are compact, so you're never more than a minute's walk away. We've been doing chauffeur christchurch airport pickups since 2002 and missed connections are rare.

Do I need to wait outside the terminal building?

No—we meet you inside the arrivals hall, not kerbside. You collect your bags, walk through to arrivals, spot your name board, and your chauffeur takes your luggage and leads you directly to the vehicle parked in the nearby chauffeur bay. You're never left standing on the footpath.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We monitor all inbound flights in real time, so if your arrival is delayed your chauffeur adjusts their timing automatically. There's no extra charge for reasonable delays and no meter running—you pay the same fixed, GST-inclusive price you saw when you booked, regardless of wait time. Head to chauffeur.co.nz/book to see the exact fare for your trip.

Fixed prices, NZD, GST-inclusive. No surge, ever. The vehicle you book is the vehicle that arrives, driven by a chauffeur we employ — trained by us and accountable to us, not an app contractor who can decline the job. The chauffeur — since 2002.
