Child seats are supplied at no extra charge when you book a chauffeur transfer to or from Wellington Airport. You select the seat type and number during booking—infant capsule, forward-facing, or booster—and the Mercedes arrives with everything fitted and ready before your family boards.
What types of child seats can I request?
You can request rear-facing infant capsules, forward-facing child seats, or booster seats depending on your children’s ages and sizes. Specify the type and number when you book, and they’ll be professionally installed in the vehicle before pickup.
Do I need to tell the driver in advance or can I just ask on the day?
You must select your child seat requirements during the online booking process. The seats are fitted before the chauffeur leaves for your pickup, so last-minute requests on the day can’t be accommodated.
Which vehicle should I book if I’m travelling with children and luggage from the airport?
The Mercedes E-Class Sedan works for up to three passengers and three bags, but if you’re travelling with multiple child seats plus luggage from Wellington Airport, the V-Class SUV offers more room and takes up to seven passengers and six bags.
Are the child seats compliant with New Zealand safety standards?
All child seats meet New Zealand safety requirements and are maintained to current standards. Our employed chauffeurs are trained in correct installation, so the seats are fitted properly every time.
Is there a fee for adding child seats to my Wellington Airport transfer?
