The Sprinter run from Auckland Airport to the North Shore is one fixed, GST-inclusive price for the whole group — no meter climbing through the Waterview Tunnel, no surge when the Harbour Bridge slows. It’s a genuine cross-city journey: roughly 30 kilometres to Takapuna and 35 to 45 minutes in normal traffic, longer at peak. The Sprinter Mini-Coach carries up to 10 passengers with 10 suitcases and 10 carry-on bags, which is why touring groups, sports teams and three-generation family arrivals book it instead of splitting into taxis at the rank.
Which way does the chauffeur go, and does the route change the price?
No — the price is fixed before you travel. The usual line is SH20A through the Waterview Tunnel, then SH1 across the Harbour Bridge for Takapuna, Milford and Devonport. For Albany, Greenhithe or the upper Shore your chauffeur may run SH18 across the Upper Harbour instead. Route choice is theirs on the day; your fare doesn’t move.
How long to Takapuna, Albany or Orewa?
Plan on 35–45 minutes to Takapuna (about 30 km), 40–55 to Albany, and around an hour to Silverdale or Orewa on the Hibiscus Coast, with Auckland peak hours adding time. The fixed price already reflects the distance — nothing ticks over in traffic.
We’re a sports team with gear. Will one Sprinter do it?
Up to 10 passengers, 10 suitcases and 10 carry-ons — a full squad’s kit in one vehicle. For more people or outsized equipment, tell us at booking and we’ll confirm the configuration or quote a second vehicle, each at its own fixed price.
Can one booking cover drops at two or three Shore addresses?
Yes — a family reunion landing together can be dropped across Devonport, Takapuna and Browns Bay on one run. Enter each stop when you book so the fixed price is quoted for the true route.
Is the Sprinter overkill for four or five people?
Often, yes. Four people with four bags fit the V-Class (up to 4 passengers, 4 suitcases, 4 carry-ons). At five or more, or four with heavy luggage, the Sprinter is the honest choice. Two people? Book the E-Class. All three vehicles price the same fixed way at /book.
